Horstman Thermostat run out of battery

Hi, i use the Climat widget since 1 year and it seems reliable, now (since the hysteresis change it's a LOT better).
However i forgot to change the battery of my thermostat and during 3 days my boiler has operated continuously.
Is it possible to send email when an important device run out of battery ? With a rules ? Perhaps could you do it automaticly when a device used in the security module or in the climate widget runs out of battery ?
