How to add Zigbees device which is not in chosen list?

As the title, I want to ask how to add new Zigbee device which is not in chosen list? And I wonder why we have to choose devices in list. Why you don't just do like Z-wave, just choose the network type and Zipato will scan for new device automatically?

I had a similar problem once. Open a ticket at http://support.zipato.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit . The next time I used add device it worked. Make sure your device is in the Zigbee HA1.2 protocol though. Otherwise it will discover it, but can not join it. Zigbee HA is part of the Zigbee Pro platform that other companies use but it is not interoperable with Zigbee HA. Hope this helps.

Use the old ui. On the top right of screen will be the tab old app, click on this and use the old UI to add the devices. Here you can just select ZigBee.

Thank you Ardian. I do so and the UI stuck at "Device joined. Please wait..." step. And if I close that message window, I see no new Zigbee device in Zipabox.

What is the product? Are you sure it is in the zigbee ha1.2 protocol? Have you emailed the manufacturer also to be sure.?
