Need Answer

Hello!

I am trying to replace my existing old alarm system with a Zipabox but have one last hurdle I need help with to solve.

When someone is entering the house through the "Entry Zone" how can I indicate for the person entering the house that the Alarm is in "ARMED" state?

My current old alarm system starts to "beep-beep-beep-beep" when someone is entering the house through the entry zone. How can I do that with the Zipabox system?

Have a Zipabox Duo with:

- Backup Module

- Security Module

- Keyfob panel

Thanks in advance

Could you please explosion how you have configured this?

Dont have any free E27 socket that I could use for this, but if you explosion how you have configured it I might be able to use your configuration but with another device than the Zipato Blub.

Would I it be possible to attach a red LED to the PGM or AUX output on the Security module?

Ok, but that requires an availble E27 Socket in the area that could be used for that purpose.

And how do you activate it and decide the the color of it?

Could this not be solved by a rule that does this:

- If Entrance Door is opened and Alarm is in "AWAY" Status

- Short "Beep" with the Alarms indoor Siren 3-4 times (Done with the "toggle" alternative)

Or would this not work?

You can use the programmable output of the security module. Between PGM and COM, the security module delivers 12V DC when armed. You may connect a led that will be on when alarm is armed away. Just verify intensity of the led lower than 150mA.
