These are probably battery devices. Did you manage to wake up the device when prompted in the failed node replace procedure? The remote should not go mute/disconnected just by rebooting zipabox. If this is the case, probably contact support.zipato.com

What about "manage wake up" ? i ve seen wakeup fill . but its blank parameter . i ve read to not fill this parameter... (?)

too i have open some tickets since 2 weeks .just an answer from pero if i have updated my box (which version he hasn't give more precision ) ... i m waiting the 8e if exist truly ..

but i want to know if Replace node is effective or not ?

if this command is possible how to use it ? because ive got error when i launch it ...? is it normal ?

Yep, you are right. It iwll not be the octans. I also have troube somethimes with my door sensor...bug as always...just checked and right now also have the same trouble with the door sensor. Sometimes it iven reports wrongly. But back to the issue.

Open the setting and go to andanced tab (not the config tab). it is the 4th tab for the main device. In there you have configure node. Click on it and confirm. It iwll then ask you to wake up the device (probably when you press a button on the remote and they should communicate to eachother.

Woth a shot as this is an automatic thing where you do not need to chage parameters...

many thanks for your help again .

Yes Ive tried this fonctionnality yet .. but i can't rules working with remote:Lifeline .. and the remote is renaming like Remote portable ... that s all ..

what is important i can wake up the device so communicate with zipabox (wake up , offline alerts ) but not with rules ..

too i have sometine TRouble on devices and sometimes desapear ... i wait with impatience the new update ... if not i don't know how they will find solution ... or when ?...im so despite ...

so i will resetup all remotes again and again for the 15th tiimes ... and wait the intempestive reboot that failed all remote rules ... soupire

i have tried to decrease version from FW but unfortunally the box is blocked to 999.8a ... impossble to go official release or previous .. maybe the box have got a problem in hardware .....??

Hi, is there any place in this site or any documentation or tutorial to understand how the replace function works step by step?

My experience so far:you connect to power the replacement device and then you start the procedure. It is like including the device will ask to wake up. It was straight forward for me.

Many tks Attila! The new one must be included before starting the replacement procedure or it will be asked to include during the procedure? And the failed one can be disconnected before starting the procedure?

For me the failed one was like offline and the replacement simply powered. Ot will start inclusion process when clicking on replace node. Neved delete the failed node as there will be nothing to replace...
