I've asked them to remove the icon that they support it until they do.

They supported it partly before. But you could not use warm and cold lights, and you could not turn the lights of, and the general experience was really bad. And because it is a IP divice it over flooded the memory on the Zipabox. So after a day or two the box was not usable.

So they removed support for Hue

I am still waiting for Hue support and a better App. They have promised new reworked support, but not when?!

So I am still waiting. And suggested to them to remove the logo until they have fixed this.

Not surprisingly they did not answer this.

And I was just waiting on someone to have the same issue as me.

Sory I saw that i got many answers:

Hello Jacob, yes that is correct but in fact that isn't possible to recreate in the system at the moment sincewe are currently revising how to control the RGBW devices. Hue, Fibaro, Aeon and our bulb willprobably have a good revision for the controls. Example of this is the rule creator in which youcouldn't properly select a color by entering the hex code in the puzzle. As for the app, unfortunately the iOS app will probably be remade from start because several itemshave been found not working properly and it is hard to keep track where the problem is. So if youcan use the android app it is much more stable and there is constant progress with it.

But not of the latest mail about removing Hue in the adds.

I am sort to say but it went a little to fast for you Zipato:

1) Can not be shut down completely with the slides?

2) No Warm and cool white slides?

3) The colors match very badly with the colors that light bulb gives? (If I choose, for example blue, it looks like it is white-blue, if I choose red, it looks like purple)

4) As usual very slow update of the status of the UI.

5) Unable to star The Light by Pressing in the Web UI on the bulb(in device manager), like you can do with zwave and 433 MHz.

6) iOS app crashes as soon as you try to change something.

7) When you add the Philips Hue, no names are given to the lamps. This works in all other apps I have added Philips Hue to.

In my world nothing change how RGB handled by Zipabox, In my world, this is not how to implement Hue?

Do not give up, before Philips reacts just like your own lightbulb, or better? This is not how Zipatos own lightbulb work.

It is good that you are working on this, but a time frame would be good?

I am sorry to say that I am a bit disappointed from being very exited when I got the mail. I thought now there will we a hole new world with RGB and Zipato but everything is the same as it was a couple of mont ago.

Hope you understand my frustration.

Best regards and keep up the good work!

Hi Chris Gen!

What do you think?

Is it ok of Zipato to clame to have Hue support when it is so limited?

I don't think they should claim Hue support. I switched from Vera to zipato but was very disappointed with the hue support and the web ui in general. The hue lights does not always react when i want to turn them on or off. The web and mobile UI do not update the state of the bulbs. On my Vera Plus hue works great. You can also trigger scenes you've created in the hue app that's on the bridge.

When I created a couple off scenes in zipabox not all lights turned on, off or changed colour :(

Can't be that hard to get this working ok and have more features like Vera have? They got it to work... I'm on firmware 999.8x4
