Hue and RGBW or RGB not working properly with rules

I am using the Set action. And choose some value from the color choices or even write my own hex code.

I found:

1. Capital letters are not working

2. Lower work but wrong.

On the RGB setting when I try to set the HUE bulb to FFF1E0 (warm white) I get a yellow

or RGBW I get whatever

3. The slider warm/cold color on the color palete is not working, always returns FFFFFF

and maybe some more I do not remember

Hi

I think the solution is not to include the HUE Bridge into Zipato directly. This sounds strange I know but if you search here in this forum you will find a lot of comments about it and that it is not working properly.

Instead use the HUE API calls over http to run scenes and turn off groups. Like that you will be able to configure your lights in the HUE app, store as a scene and it works perfect. To turn off just send the API command to turn a group of lights off.

There is also a post about to get the HUE API working.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

Beat
