In Configuration for the Aeotec Multi-Sensor has G1, G2, G3. What are their functions?

Again, this might be redundant. Not sure if submitted the first time correctly. These items show 720sec in the Configuration with a up/down arrow. What is the purpose of these and should the intervals be changed? Also, it shows the wakeup interval as 8 min. Should that stay as is or if it is to be changed, what would be the reason to do it?
