Intecom licensing - PRO license needed for all stations?
Answered
According to feature list (https://www.zipato.com/how-it-works/features) SIP Intecom is available for PRO license only. As i knew, only one Zipatile in a network had to be licensed to PRO to run the SIP server. Was this changed? ALL the Zipatiles I want to use as Intercom have to be licensed as PRO now?
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
I've got an official answer from Zipato support. Intercom doesn't need PRO, just the SIP server:
"Only SIP server function is part of the PRO package. So if you are using only one SIP server, for example, this can be building SIP server, you can only have one PRO package for that particular Zipatile. All other Zipatiles will only run SIP clients and they don't have to run SIP servers on them.
However, Zipato intercom is powerful solution for residential buildings. So if you want, you can run SIP server on one Zipatile in every appartment if you like (Master Zipatile if you have more than one Zipatile in appartment). In this case, this SIP server will serve as private SIP server for that family, and it will allow family members to use their mobile phones to answer calls which are coming from door phone."
Thank you Zipato

I dont this all of then should. As you wrote, one needs to be as it will act as SIP server. The rest should be a client and thus receive call via the intercom application. Keep us posted on your progress with this. Thx.
