I've been trying to get my IP cameras to work with the Zipabox for almost two years.

I've got to the point where I think it just isnt possible.

What about some kind of tutorial.

I Have 6 foscam cameras that are running nicely - it is a nightmare to get them connected (even with the new possibilities to add port selection) and interfaced (to get streaming etc...) to get all of them running on blue iris took me less that 15 minutes ...

Hi,

just pick up the rtsp stream url here:

http://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=7links

put it into the box und try it.

I created a little howto here:

http://zipabox.de/ip-kamera-streamt-jetzt-zur-zipabox/

but its a little bit outdated...

thanks a lot - this is useful.

Could we also imagine of a LOCAL solution to the streaming - not vasting the full bandwith when if you have a lot of HD cameras- and only sending to the HOST exceptions or saved data....?

The cameras operate in FTP mode, but nothing works in live mode.

I tried on firefox, explorer and Chrome, but no positive result.

With the old version it was possible without problems.

I have doubts, I am running FW 0.9.999.5 but scanning on my PC does not find my onvif camera. Doing it on my android phone it does find an NVT device and configures it correctly.

I am planning to add 4 more onvif cameras, so guess will have to add them on my android phone............

After adding them via my phone, they appear in the device list on my PC and work properly............. it's weird...

So somehow the discovery function on PC doesn't work as it should I think....
