Is anyone else having problems of delays on the GUI?

Filipe Pateiro shared this problem 8 years ago
Solved

Not sure if this was due to the upgrade to the latest Beta (support told me to do so because the 433MHz devices weren't working with the official one) or if it is just a coincidence.

but since yesterday, although the commands sent by the GUI work fine (the lights do indeed turn on and off) if I turn them on directly , the GUI doesn't update (eventually it will after some hours), the same happens on the mobile app.

on the app it's even weirder because it turns the light off (for example) but eventually the app shows it on again)

Additionaly if I open the charts (meters, etc), they only show the data until 00:00

Is anyone suffering from this problems?

Everything seems to be fine with me.

Yes... very very heavy delay since yesterday! No response from support... :-(

I'm experience the same thing since yesterday. If I "push" the ON button, the lamp goes ON... but the interface is not updating the new state. The events logs aren't updating after 1 hour or more... IF they do!

I have the same, but it's weird... sometimes there's no delay at all, but since yesterday i'm experiencing an heavy delay.

The weird response of the app do i have too. From as long as i have the zipato system (more than a year) this has unfortunately never worked well... Sometimes there is about 5 sec. delay but most of the time the delay is much more.

See my earlier topic: https://community.zipato.com/topic/strange-delay-in-app

Hallo!

I experienced also problems. 30 min delay of events.

Support answered:

"This whole week there are some problems with ISPs in general even if they won't

admit it. So this is the cause of the problem of the delay."

To be honest can not belive this because

  • -At time of the problems connection was ok.
  • -No problem of reaching my.zipato.com.

  • -Also on my.zipato.com my box showed status online.

regards,

Bernhard

Problem is not solved... Status switched to open because the window is not open etc.

Hi all, I have the same issue...

I have the same issue. It is not limited to the GUI either; the API has significant delays too.

This problem is definitely NOT solved. I had to wait six seconds between each keystroke just to name devices last night. sometimes having to repeat keystrokes that did not get picked up by the server.

The gui is working fine, but the delay (now about 15 sec.) in the app is still there. Problem not solved unfortunatly.....

I have the same issue, but not all of the time. In some cases it too 40 to 60 seconds!

LOL

But good news here; the delay in de app seems to be disappeared now. It almost reacts instantly. I hope it stays this way.

No, it's not solved! It's ok after you've logged in and restarted the GUI but after some minutes the delay in response can be 40 to 60 seconds!

Constantly. It's horrible!

Very slow - seems to gain a Little speed by using Chrome instead of IE/EDGE - I still think best option would be a local server module, but Zipato have been ignoring all discussions of this. Fine with Zipatile, local app access to box and all sorts of stuff, but when the basic control interface is lagging horrible and your home-automation depends on it I think it is a potential business killer for Zipato with this dependency.

yes it is a very potential business killing for zipato maybe we have to think in others Fibaro looks better

same for me. I will test Fibaro in the next weeks....

I have rules that shuts off my panel heaters at 23:00. Tonight it shut off at 23:01:17, one minute and 17 seconds too late. How will this kind of delay affect the security/alarm widget?

Hello everyone. I had continuous problems with this as others are so I decided to try other browsers. Mozilla appears to work best for me with no delays at all. Hope this helps.
