Is it possible to set a variable when starting a scene?

T,
Maybe is not the best approach but the only way you can set a variable when triggering a scene is adding a virtual device to the scene (ON or OFF) and create a rule that runs when this device is on that state, then within the rule set the variable, then return the virtual device to the previous state at the end of the rule.

Hi
it is not possible to use Scene state (Scene doesn't have State) in the rule creator (where is possible to set a variable). From the Rule creator the Scene can be started, only.
