Late taken picture by Zipatile

I have made this rule which sends a snapshot picture from the built in Zipatile ipcamera to my email adress.

There problem here is the snapshot is actually taken a bit late after the mouvement in from of the zipatile motion sensor happened so that i get not a picture from who pâsseed in front the ZT.

Attached is the rule i've made.

Is there any rectification on this to be done inorder to get the picture of the person who moved in front of the zipatile instantly.

Thanks for support

Hi Hanic,

The rules should always start with '' when ''.

as an example here: https://community.zipato.co...

Hi Hanic,

for example in attachment. in this rule,

* when motion is detected,

* Zipatile camera snapshot,

* wait 3 seconds,

* again zipatile camera snapshıot,

* send e-mail,

and e-mail configure, ( contacts and camera attachment )

Best Regards,

Mehmet

I think you've misinterpreted the original question guys.

Hanic, your question was about the speed of movement registration and not the snapshots.

You can tweak the sensitivity of the inbuilt motion sensor in order to try and achieve those faster snapshots, however, I don't think you can exactly catch someone passing by quickly with a snapshot.

Go to IP network on your zipatile, and there you will see a device called "Internal", click the wheel next to it and you will see a tab called Configuration. There you can tweak the parameters of the inbuilt sensor array.

There is no "correct" value for the sensitivity, depending on your needs - play around with it and find which suits you best.
