Lightly vs Hue

Hello!
I have some Osram Lightly products connected to the Zipato system. The problem is, there is no fade time or such.
When i give a "on" command the colors are sent as R, G and B with a few milliseconds between. So i have a small disco show lasting approx 0,5 sec every time they turn on.
How is the Hue system working in comparison? Can i control Fade times? is it smooth on and off?
I like this idea

I use Lightify for a long time without disco show. I use a rule for that:
Virtual switch starts rule. In rule I set the colors, the Kelvin and then I switch on. Works perfectly. Better than Fibaro RGBW controller.

i also have several lightify rgbw bulbs, classic and downlights, none of them have this disco effect when turned on or changing colour.
The only thing I would really like to see implemented is a hex code for the white colour. I can not sync all bulbs to the same white.
