Need Answer

I need a rule that they are five in the afternoon, a light goes on and they are the twelve o'clock turn off .

the rule works with a magnetic sensor but when I change scheduler does not work.

How is scheduler settings ?

I think you should remove astro and and astro offset values. If you want the timer to trigger the rule every hour, I think you need to change the Repeat (click edit) and set the start time, and the schedule to Hourly and repeat every 1 hour.

As Marius said, in the scheduler you either use the astro (with or without the offset in minutes) or you use the time based trigger, but never both.

Also if I understood you correctly you want the light to turn on at 5pm and turn off at midnight? Do two simple rules:

1. when - scheduler 5pm, action, turn the light on. Nothing else is needed

2. when - scheduler midnight, turn the light off. Nothing else is needed

remove the scheduler. You are asking the rule to run at 1 minute after sunset, and if the time is between 3 and 3:15pm. Not much of a window there. Either have the run run on the scheduler, or the time sensor.

I do not understand why the 2 rules to either turn the light on after sunset within a 15 minute period or off in a 15 minute period after this.

Maybe a little more info on what you are trying to acheive and we can help a little more

modify the rule as I said attila but still does not work , not if I'm wrong setting the scheduler but it does not work .

Will you please can you help me with the configuration of the scheduler or a rule that works me to do this?

I need an advertising sign is turn at five in the afternoon and goes to the twelve o'clock is all.

Just wondering: If you don't need any intelligence or control or possibilities for deviation, but all you want is a light to go ON at a specified time, and to go OFF at another specified time, would it not be easier (and cheaper) to use a mechanic or electronic plug-in timer which often cost less than EUR10 ?

I am certain you want to achieve a more advanced control of your advertising sign than just on/off at fixed time. If you could describe more accurately what you want to achieve, I am certain you'll get precise and accurate assistance here in this forum :-)

Create the rule from scratch using new blocks for everything. It definitely works. Remember, you either use the astro or the tike but never both in one scheduler

here you go. The actual scheduler is for the "turning on at 5". The second rule will have same scheduler, just set at midnight (00:00 or 23:59).

Definitely works. Dont forget, dont use any existing puzzle piece from existing rule, use all new puzzle pieces.
