Linear Garage Door Opener

I am wondering if anyone has gotten the Linear Garage Door Opener to work with the zipabox. I can add it but it doesn't not show up in the devices to be controlled.

Here is the link to the device http://www.nortekcontrol.com/product_detail.php?productId=1719

Have you tried associating it directly with the keyfobs / devices you want to run it with? Instead of writing scenes / relying on zipabox to send the signal, i assume you can bind it to a switch / keyfob, and it will work.

Drawback is the "alarm" function wont work as good i guess, unless it updates zipabox during status changes.

I am looking at deoing something similar for my own garagedoor, but i have an option to just use a normal relay-switch opening / closing a circuit without putting power on it with the setup i have.

My concern is that i do not want to be able / make it easy to close/open the garagedoor without having vision of the opening. Thats why i am adding a camera so i can see the opening when operating the door.

Hello guys,

we still haven't added support for GD00Z-4: Z-Wave Garage Door Opener but it will definitively be supported in the near future.

I would love for this to be supported. I have one sitting in a box I would really like to use.

Just wondering if there is an update on the support added for this device.

Anyone? It's getting pretty exhausting spending 100s of dollars on the most popular sensors and devices and them never working

Does the linear now work with zipatile?

It does work. Mine shows up as a gate and properly reports if the door is up or down. The only issue is that you can't use it in a rule. It doesn't appear. Or at least it didn't the last time I looked at the rule creator.

I submitted a ticket about it, but was ignored as usual.
