Need Answer

Do i need to reinstall the HUE bridge to zipabox or is there a way around this?

HUE app still work.

I also have a few flic botons working with IFTTT directly controling HUE, those applets are no longer working.

It seams to me that the problem is in the HUE bridge.

Usually in the device manager you have a device created under IP devices for the the Hue bridge, usually it says what IP was registered with. If you had a power failure and do not have the hue bridge configured as static IP address it is possible that its IP was changed when your router rebooted, this is the only thing I can't think of why the APP still works and not from Zipabox.

Do you see the hue bridge offline from Zipabox? can you ping the bridge? Try to reboot the zipabox if the IP is the same.

Thanks Alberto , im back online now, rebooted everything hue bridge, zipabox and flic´s. Thinking about using UPS for hue and zipabox in future.

I will take a closer look at the IP adresses next time. My router is not as flexible as i wish.

Funny thing is hue lamps automaticly goes to ON 100% after power drops.

So better make a rulle for turning off lights after powerfailiure.............

Patrik,

Good that you're back, it is recomendable that you get a router that can configure static IP's, there are some with integrated batteries too.

Yes, this is a feature most smart bulbs have, and this is so when you use a regular switch to power them, they can turn ON automatically, without the need of an interfase (otherwise you would always need your phone or another interfase to turn them ON), yes indeed, I actually have a rule to detect power failures using my zipabox backup module battery meter.
