Need Answer

Hello. Is the new fibaro wall plug (zwave plus) not supported? I bought them yesterday and I install them today now, but it looks as if they are not supported. I install them correctly and the exclusion/inclusion was successful.

On the fibaro carton it says FGWPF-102 ZW5 v3.2 serial no. 00013378 and date 06/12/2016.

look on the picture I attach,

Hi Dennis:

I had a similar issue with the Fibaro Flood Sensor. The hardware was updated to Z-Wave Plus and the firmware was also updated, which caused the compatibility issue. They were able to fix the issue in a few weeks time and I had to update my controller to the latest firmware to get the fix.

You should first confirm if you are on the latest firmware on your controller. I am using a Zipabox and the latest firmware is 1.1.35. I am not sure what the latest firmware is if you are using one of their other controllers.

If you are not on the latest firmware, you should update that first to see if compatibility was provided in that.

If you are on the latest firmware, then you should open a ticket with support and they will get this issue resolved for you.

Dennis,

You need to open a ticket on zipato support, include your controller serial. As far as I can see there is a descriptor problem, this can happen specially on new products or new generations of products. Only Zipato can help to correct the descriptor and you might have to exclude/include the device.

Okey. I have send an email/ticket now to zipato support.

I have the same problems with 2 new Wall Plugs.

I have tried both the old FW and new 1.1.38 in my Zipato Duo.

On the box of the wall plugs it seems to be a new FW at the Fibaro Wall Plug

Still cannot understand that someone in international forum writes different languages. Please write in english or chat in whatsupp or something. (I can understand swedish, but that´s not the point)

In english; anyone solved this yet? I am not able to get readings on current consumption

photo

I have a case open for many months now and the consistent feedback I get is that it will be solved....unfortunately that is not enough to have it solved. Besides the issue with consumption there also is an issue when the switch is used with local switching. In that case the status does not get updated in the controller.

They finally fixed it.

I had to remove and re-add the wall plug, but now it reads current_consumption properly and I can add rules to it

(running BETA firmware, but I think it should work nevertheless)
