"No Endpoints" when adding Oregon sensors

Mello shared this problem 8 years ago
Solved

I purchased 2 new Oregon THGN132ES sensors.

They are discovered by the Zipabox, but instead of displaying TEMP and HUMIDITY details, it shows "No Endpoints" in the device manager for both devices when selecting them.

I tried re-adding them a few times, even using latest beta firmware and previous firmware without any success.

A few weeks ago I successfully added an old Oregon THGR122NX sensor to my brand new Zipabox.

It reported both Temp and Humidity fine, so I know what it should look like.

In order to try to determine the problem I decided to remove the working THGR122NX too and re-add it again.

Unfortunately this device now also no longer shows details but also "No Endpoints".

(I don't recall if I added it previously using the firmware that was shipped with the Zipabox or after upgrading firmware to the latest level).

Any ideas how to fix this 'No Endpoints' issue?

I recently had this problem with one out of four new THR122N (temp only).

I did a lot of things, so I am not sure what made it include properly.

1. I removed the device and readded it without taking out batteries: not fixing the problem

2. I removed the device and readded it, reinserting the batteries: not fixing the problem

3. I removed the device and readded it, reinserting the batteries and pressed the reset button on the sensor (with a needle): not fixing the problem

When it finally worked, I did the following: Inserted NEW batteries, pressed the reset button on the sensor and placed the sensor 1cm away from the Zipabox.

It might have been bad batteries...

The three others were included without any problems.

EDIT: Oh, and I also tried to rollback FW from the lastest beta. It did not solve the problem either

Hi,

I have the same problem but with 433MHz wall plugs. Would the latest firmware help me too?

I have the same issue adding an oregon 122 NX. No endpoint. I will try with the old app this evening.

Zipato support have been able to assist me by loading a special firmware version (not available for download) and now it works again for me with the new control center.

(haven't tried old version).

When using the old app, you can add an oregon's device, but the box do not recieve any information from it. For exemple my 122nx say 0 degree and 0 % moisture. Hope the firmware will upgrade soon...

Ok, I did this exact same thing with with my Oregon sensor. The sensor is a THGR122N wich I had to add as a THGR122NX. Now it has an endpoint at least, but it still does not show the temperature or humidity. Doesnt show upp under the devices in the device browser. Am I doing something wrong or is the firmware broken?

I run firmware 8q as the current BETA is. I also have problems adding other 433Mhz devices. Z-wave's I actually dont know since I have not bought any new ones lately.

Somehow after I wrote this I tried to look at it once more and this time... sure as hell it worked.....

I believe the firmware is fine itself. I suspect this is a little bug in the UI. Can you try this, Go to the device manager, see where "show icon" is selected, un-select it, save the device. Then select it again, save again and synchronize. Is the icon shown in the device browser now?

I know the procedure is a little silly, but it might actually work.
