No-hassle list of supported devices
Idea:
When user buys Zipabox, the setup asks: Will you agree to anonymously share your connected devices to the community? (and explain why).
If the user agrees, the included devices will be posted to the web. The user should be able to comment on if the device works as it is supposed to, and if the device actually has the right name (Some 433 MHz devices are compatible with other devices)
Each time there is a FW update that contains a fix for a specific device, Zipato should mark the previous comments on the spesific device as outdated, until a new comment arrives. An new comment should only be possible after the user has installed the new FW and the box has properly rebooted (sadly, reboot seems to be required sometimes).
Commenting should only be possible from the actual device, inside the my.zipato.com.
In this way, we would actually get a "free", comprehensive list of supported devices.
