no netwoks connection

Hi,


i have a problem who had appear betwen 15 and 16 june.

i don't have a network connection. i try to connect my box on a other port other box and i try hard reset, nothing more...

i think my connection by rj45 is dead... what can i do?

An other think i have a green led who flahes.

Have you also tried a different cable? Also test the existing port and cable in another device.

Flint,

Most probably your dsl/wifi router will have an internal webserver where you can log on to see connected devices and their respective IP-addresses, MAC addresses etc. Try logging in to that device and look for what may possibly be a Zipabox. If you are able to identify all connected devices and none of these are the Zipabox, you'll have to contact the dealer who sold you the device and claim warranty repair or replacement.

Flint,

Depending on your mobile network provider, it may be possible for you to add a battery-module and a 3G stick (provided the APN doesn't need to be set specifically). You would then get access to your rules, be able to print them, and you can operate your current box for as long as you're willing to pay the mobile provider the data cost.

If, on the other hand, you don't have a ton of rules which will take you 7 weeks to program, I'd suggest you cut your losses and simply get a new box...

I still have access to my rules. in my dashboard my box appears offline but I see my programation.

it's a shame zipato is not intended to replace box without data loss ...

Flint, Zipato currently can backup your rules if you get in touch with them.


They also will be able to fix the box (possibly for a charge). Raise a ticket via support.zipato.com
