OSRAM Devices

Under Consideration

Dear all,

Some questions according the installation of my 32 OSRAM lights (OSRAM PAR16 TW) on the zipabox, and my young experience on your product.

1) In new web interface, in device manager in temperature parameter I see a check box "Master" What's his function ?

2) On IOS App It's would be interesting to have the color control available directly inside the module like another page after "Intensity" (not as another device when we display it as "accessories") is that possible for users to parameterize that ?

3) Same question for toggle On/Off the light

3) Is that possible to create a groupe and change the intensity (or color) of all the group in a same time ?

Thanks for your help

Regards

Stéphane

plenty, just not for OSRAM PAR16 TW. :-) The problem is that there are thousands of different devices, so when you have an issue, the chances of someone having the same device and setup is slim. And besides that there is the issue of IOS vs Android........ so someone might have the same setup, but use a different app...

you're right but there I only ask question about basic function available with OSRAM module no relationship with how they're use or the environnement, I think (I hope :)) someone knows how they works ;)

I think what Steph means is the Par16 globes are a CW to WW dimmable led globe. Currently in the app (android i'm using) you can only dim the light not change the colour from warm white to cool white. But you can do this with the RGBW globes from either Zipato or Osram, just not the plain white with out RGB.

In respects to the simple on/off function for these types of globes in the app, it has been raised many times before. The Imperihome app (my goto) allows for a switch like this. It also allows you to group switches together.

Alternatively you can go to the rule creator and create a rule where if one bulb is switched all bulbs will be switched. You can also create a Virtual switch to do this, so when this Virtual switch is triggered the bulb/s turn on/off.

Creating a scene with the bulbs will only place the bulbs to a preconfigued setting, but you can use it this way if it is easier.

Exact, it's what I mean for the dimmable bulbs.

Ok scene & rules could do what I want.

The last option not integrated, is the default value set in the the Par16. This function is new in OSRAM it's allow you to set the default value when you turn off the light. I use it a lot because the local switch is use to turn off totally the group (easier than through a box). Hope it will be implemented soon ;)

Hi Steph, not sure exactly what you mean. If you want to set a particular value, such as brightness or colour, when you turn off the switch so next time when you turn it on it starts at this setting, you should be able to do this with the rule creator. If you want to turn off all the lights with the local switch when you turn it off this is also possible with the rule creator. PLease be more specific and we can try and help. Thats whats so great about this community.
