Greetings,
ZWNTUT (Z-Wave Network Topology Update Tool) is a tool that can be used to recreate the routing table of an entire network, or just to update the routing table of a single device. It is basically just an improved version of the current Network Heal tool.

It has to do with the Main Zipato controller. Z-wave controllers have the ability to have a secondary controller in their network, this could be a hand held remote or another HUB. This enables a backup of routing tables and allows the secondary controller to take over the primary controller if need be. Also can extend the network and make it work faster on large installations, as a command sent from a device does not necessarily need to travel the whole network back to the main controller, but only to the secondary where this controller can issue the transmitting command. It also allows other controllers to include new devices into the network.
This is something Zipato didn't have implemented for a while, but was possible via other controllers like Fibaro and Vera because they are Z-wave only. Now with the Cluster option, something similar can be achieved but with multiple networks protocols.
Your main/primary controller will also be Node and SIS ID 1, Your Home ID is the ID number that is associated with your controller. This is what a device gets when it joins your network, and helps to identify what network it is on for future commands. SIS controller is the type of controller it is. There is SUC and SIS. SIS is more common as it allows multiple controllers in a network. SIS controllers do not update other controllers with new routing tables whereas SUC do.
At least I'm prettty sure I got this right.

Well, I have used this feature and it basically recreated the actual routing of all devices.
From my perspective it is better featured tool than Network heal and you should use it at least one on all your devices (just run all devices and dont forget to wake up battery powered devices when you are prompted).

Thanks to all,
Looks like a big improvement, i have found myself performing several network heals because of one device failing to update neighbourgs or something. I will test this function, good job Zipato!!!
