Qubino flush dimmer ZMNHDD1 time-out during configuration progress

Hi!

I have a Qubino flush dimmer ZMNHDD1 that I have some trouble to include.

After several attempt do the controller find my device, placed the controller very next to the unit. But the configuration progress fails and become time-out after 60 seconds.

I can find the Qubino flush dimmer in my list, so somehow is it coming into the system.

So far am I happy, but the interface do not update the status of the dimmer if I use the push button.

I had the same problem with one of my Everspring wall plug, but after some attempts was that one configured as it should.

I have had the Qubino flush dimmer configured in my system, but I removed it from the system when I suddenly couldn't switch on the light with neither the push-button or the controller. THis fault occured after I had tested several lights bulbs.

When I installed it the last time, did I also need to have the controller very close to the unit. That time did it configure as it should and did also update in the interface when I used the push-button as long as the interface was open, as I mention in this post https://community.zipato.com/topic/level-doesnt-update-in-application-qubino-flush-dimmer

I've tried to include the dimmer in both the web-interface and in the Android app.

First I tried the official release of the FW of the box (1.2.28) and also updated to the beta FW (1.2.33), with no luck.

Is it a fault on my dimmer module or is it an FW error? I mean, I was able to include it correctly 6 month ago and I did also struggle to include my Everspring wall plug.

Lukas,

I have had issues while including qubino modules before, and usually it happens as you describe, try to reset your qubino device to factory settings (see manual) and if possible connect it to 24 volts (I'm not sure if dimmer modules can be connected also to 24 volts) so you can use the B-button to put the module into exclusion / inclusion, that has resolved my issue with flush relays.

If it times out during the inclusion process and sends you a message like "Manufacturer report not sent", try again and keep waking up your device while the inclusion process is happening, I think the "secure inclusion" added not so long ago on zipato systems is having issues with some old devices.

A reset was the trick! Then could I include it and configure it as it should.

In the beginning did the status only update if the interface was opened when I used the light switch, but now a couple of days later do neither the interface or app update status when I use the light switch even if it's open.

Tested the latest FW release 1.2.36 & 1.2.37 as well as the official release 1.2.29.

Hello. I also have many qubino dimmers and qubino relay and I always have problems to include them. I will never buy Qubino again

Unfortunately the real problem is not qubino. It's zipato.

If a device is bad, it works bad with every controller..

I love Qubino with the amount of settings they provide, smaller in size, and have a variety of relays. Its just that it does not gets included nicely with zipato, even I've a ticket open with this. I would like to see Qubino playing nice with Zipato.
