Solved

Hi,

Just installed my 2nd relay from Qubino. The Zipabox finds it and I add it but it has an offline state! Location is 1m from the box. So what is the problem?

Remove, reset and reinclude again.

It's located within 1m. I have deleted it but now it will not make the exclusion (!?). I have even put power off and then within 60s power on then made exclusion but it is not reacting.

Another thing, why does it still says I have 14 devices and 1 Offline in device manager though I have deleted it under z-wave list ? When I go to "devices offline" and delete it it takes forever. Has been running 10min(please wait...) now

Ok, I guess the box starts go get filled up and thus slowing down. Restart the box for sure (unplug from the mains, wait 10 second and plug back in) once it is started up completelly, first reset the qubino module by holding the service button for more than 6 seconds.

Then you can start with the adding process (first exclusion by holding more than 6 seconds and then inclusion by holding for more than 2 seconds).

And don't be worries if you need to go through the adding process more times. I also had cases when I was trying to add the device for over 30 minutes and it only success after I don't know how many times trial.

One more thing, ensure that you don't have the device partially included in the system. Look into the Zwave network. If it is not listed, then it is OK.

Ok, but regarding the "s" button on the Qubino it says clearly it should only be used when using 24VDC. add/remove is the I1 which is more or less toggle with the light button. 5 times within 3 sec to make the reset.

What I did to help me include these modules is, I wired an extension cord to the modules and then I just plug/unplug from 120 VAC power, that works for me on exclusion/inclusion process.

· 1. Start exclusion of Z-Wave devices and then

connect the module to the power supply, it will exclude properly.

· 2. To include properly, disconnect the power supply

and connect it once more once the inclusion process starts.

· 3. Process of including the module is complete and

the module works normally.

Yeah...Did as you described. Now it's seems to work. Thanks!!! Now I just gonna move it to a different location. Just hope it's working there as it is about 25m away although I have a Aeon labs range extender halfway

IT dosen't even do the exclusion now. I son't dare to touch the s button as the manual says according to attched pix. Seems the picture didn't work...anyway it says not used if connected to 110-230v onl 24 VDC.

Hi,

What do you mean? You used the "s" button instead? Do I dare to use the "s" instead?! I have only like 7-8 W LED power usage if that is the problem with high load as it can manage 2x960W or something.

I know. The design of this could be better. It does work though. I used it as I dont have push button.
