Relay (dry out) connection details for underfloor heating
Need Answer
Hello everybody,
I would like to replace my underfloor heating thermostat (see attachment) for living room with my Zipatile relay 1 switch.
Can anybody send me details how to connect with relay 1? Which of the wires have to be connected with relay 1? As I can see I have to put 2 wires into relay 1 switch of my ZipaTile?
Thanks for help.
Best, Robert

Firstly is this electric UFH? If yes, it is not possible. Zipatile can only switch at max 230W (1A).
The other thing that I dont understand is that one lead seems to be missing Neutral for the load or in other terms a return lead.

need a bit more info on the switch type and input current. But it looks like the White wire is you trigger wire. This would be activated by the switch. Usually I would think you would have the white wire and another on the other side to make the contact. You need to see what current is drawn on the white wire, it may just be a 3v input signal. In this case you could wire the white to one side of the relay 1 of zipatile then add another wire to the switch. This would require the switch to stay on and this be triggered via the zipatile.
But first check the input signal, maybe a model number or spec sheet would be handy to look at. But as Attila says, be careful not to put more than 1A at 230V through it. Usual electric floor heating can be up to 10A or in your case, as it says on you module, 16A.

Thanks for help. In the end I now use a fibaro switch to control the underfloor heating in this room and this works. In that way I did not connect the underwall heating directly to my zippatile.
