Would'nt it be nice that the function "RE-APPLY DEVICE DESCRIPTORS" would reset everything to this device... names,... to standard initial state?
maybe a new function would be required ?

Option " re-apply device descriptors" does what the name says. In order to reset everything on your device, please try to use reset procedure from device manual and re add him again.
