RS232 on Zipatile
Need Answer
Anyone have experience connecting an RS232 device to Zipatile?
I have Hunter Douglas Platinum technology window coverings and they offer an RS232 interface from the Platinum bridge, but I've no idea how to add the device on Zipatile.
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
Same question for me as I'd need it for DSC alarm integration.

RS232 is such old protocol, that todays devices did not know how to handle. But perhaps if you use a USB-RS232 adapter maybe there is a driver for android. In that case you can connect it to the zipatile. Or: Use a Rasperry for this work.

Old or not, it is what Zipato have chosen to support with Zipa Box, so I figured it was the only way to integrate a DSC alarm with Zipato.

Did somebody ever looked into Leviton VRC0P-1LW ? On paper it seems it could work over as a Zwave to RS232 bridge. Just unsure how long would be the journey to make that happen... I simply need to control a multi-zone amplifier.
