Help me please. Why rule in attach are not working?

I would recommend using a virtual sensor or switch to hold the state of the sunrise and sunset. Make a separate rule with scheduler (astro) to set the virtual sensor to on/off. Then you can use this sensor in your rule logic

It seems logic but it doesn't works. I had the same question, in a ticket, log ago and here is the answer:

"Hello Henry,

as you noticed this will not work, this is how the system is currently configured.

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish but I would recommend that you

create two separate Rules with a scheduler in the WHEN part of the Rules.

Just create a virtual switch and turn it on in sunrise and turn it of in sunset.

Thanks for your answers. I tried make it without virtual switch, only astro in scheduler. And it works!

The reason I use a virtual switch is if you have several rules triggered by sunset or sunrise, you will only need one astro rule setting the switch and your other rules can be triggered by the switch change.

And it is convenient to check the switch state in other rule logics aswell (if SUNISUP=0 and WEEKEND=1 then...)
