Rule on time is not working

Need Answer

I am having a problem with a rule that should work on time.


if i make the same rule without the time element it works.

What do i wrong.?


i have a screenshot geupload with both rules

Sorry Richard, I might have misled you with my tip.


Try changing the between puzzle in your rule with the time-between puzzle. It will work, even if the first point of time is greater than the second. See attached example from a working rule that I use to control my TV.

You might have better luck using Time of: now, since what you are currently doing, is comparing now (date + time) with a general point of time. By using time-of puzzle you will be comparing two things of the same type (time and time)

Thanks Marius this solved the question in my answer but now it works i have a new question.


it seems tha i can not pas a time that passes 23:45

i want the rule to act between 17:00 in the evening en 09:00 the next morning.

it looks like the first value must be smaller than the second one.
