Rule to close shutter to certain position when direct sunlight is detected

Hi all,

I have a problem regarding a rule I have created for closing my shutters when there's direct sunlight coming into the room.

I'm using a Fibaro motion sensor / luminance sensor which is placed on the wall where the sunlight normally hits. I have 1 on the front of my house and one at the back.

When the sunlight hits the motion sensor the luminance is more than 20000 and the shutter closes correctly.

The rule:

245ad93b37890d57afc0b6accf5fd5bc

The motion sensor is at that point in the shade so luminance drops significantly.

However after the initial execution of the rule the shutter becomes totally unresponsive for any command from the zipabox. If I try to change the position the slider in the zipato app will move, shutter will remain on the position and after 5 sec the slider moves back to the initial position and the shutter is not moved.

Only solution then is to hard reboot the zipabox to regain control.

I have this on both shutters. As long as this rule is not executing I can control the shutters from the app all day long so it seems the rule is causing the shutter position to get stuck.

Any pointers are highly appreciated.

Don't know but it could be that the rule is triggert to much. You have to check the events.

To make sure it's not triggert to much. Make something like this:

When motion luman > 20000 and NOT rolluik = 60

rolluik goto 60

And then i would make a rule that the rolluiken go up again.

I had a similar rule in place with almost the same outcomings - unresponsive shutters when rule triggers the shutters to drive into the same position a few times.

So as HeroS described - since i check the position of the shutters in the rule - i don't run into this problem anymore.
