Rules are not working

All my rules are not working since today.

I include today a new sonos play:1 thats all.

I restart the box

I pull the plug for 5 minutes

Nothing change.

Did you add any rule? I you add a rule with an error all rules will stop working.

Same for me. From 2 hours all rules stopped working.

Please fix it!

Yes i add a new rule for the Sono Play:1. It is possible that the rule includes an error.


Now I has delete all new rules and sync again. But the rules still not working :-((

I opened a support ticket at 21.45 but after 1,5 hours still no answer.


This is a big mess because my whole house rely on zipabox for many things (automated lights, shutters, controlled plugs, ...) and without rules nothing works!

Hmmm, thought it was just me, my rules also started playing up today. Some rules don't work, and others half........

Now it's 12 hours that rules don't work. No answer from Zipato to the ticket or on the community...

I haven't a sonos unit and I hadn't added devices yesterday.


The rules just stopped to work around 19.

I exclude my Sonos, but nothing change. The rules still didn't work.

I open a ticket yesterday at 7p.m.

Now rules work again. I did this steps:


  • - deleted some disabled rules (disabled by months, not yesterday)
  • - synchronized rules


Yesterday I already synchronized, restarted and tried to change rules but nothing changed.

This morning it worked.

i see at my.zipato.com that Zipato has integrate some virtual switches and a rule for testing.

Thanks Ivan for the clear explanation and for the fixing.


I will upgrade to the new stable firmware as soon as it will be available. At present I'm on 8e (beta) because it resolved an issue with scene activation that my setup was having with .8 (stable).
