Rules are not working anymore

Fred Lesg shared this problem 8 years ago

Since a few days, rules are not triggered anymore (either by schedule or by motion). I experienced a power failure a few days ago, but now leds are green and i can control devices individually or with scene... I've rebuilt all my rules without any success... Can you troubleshoot this problem?

Please have a deeper look into your Rules.

Please deactivate all rules and then active one by one and try it again.

Same problem for me. Happened at around 02:00 when trying to add a motion sensor rule. I got a error message. Disabled the rule. But nothing work. Deleted the rule. But nothing work?

Happy to see I'm not alone...Do I have to disable all my rules an re-enable them one by one even if i've rewritten them completely?

Is it possible to have a log file to find what's going wrong?

Everything started with a rule I was trying to create and forgot that it was "time blocks" to add, instead I wrote the number of the time in the square like in the picture below:

And now I can't get anything to work even after I deleted the rule, unplugged the box and re synced the rules.

I also have this kind of rule...cb8c0931ab4fdeed7906c2d2f72c90a1

Yes but you used the time elements instead of writing the time in the "ENTRE" and "ET" square! So of course it works for you.

I tested to move my most important rule to the bottom and now that works. The rule that starts the wall socket in the kitchen. "Wife 0.99999999999999998k" will otherwise be hysterical. ;-)

Just tested and now all rule seem to work.

It could be zipato that fixed something also. In that case thanks for fast service.

Otherwise thanks anyway.

Can you explain in detail Fred Lesg what your run do?

Best regards Jacob!

Jacob Wiqvist my script opens shutters on first motion detection between 6.30 and 10.30. I also have a virtual switch "scene active" to quickly disable all rules.
