Rules Stopped Working

Everything was working fine for a few weeks and then all of a sudden two of my wired switches dropped offline. I deleted one of the switches and then re-added it to the network. I recreated my rule that turns on lights outside my house at sunset and then turns them off at 2am. Unfortunatly, they just stopped working.

Did you remove the old one from the rule? If old (delete) devices still are used in rules then the sync won't work.

I did. I even re-created the "turn off the lights at 2am" rule from scratch after deleting the original thinking that might work. Unfortunately everything was still on when I woke up.

I noticed that sometimes when there was a power failier some of my device are off-line. "Network Heal" allways helped.

Unfortunately I tried that too, with no luck.

Now none of my rules are working. The motion sensor is sending motion and the switch is online, but it's not sending a notification nor is it turning on the light.


This thing isn't very reliable is it?

Did you install any IP devices such as a Nest thermostat or Sonos speakers?

Apparently such devices are causing the box to run out of memory, due to a bug that's being looked into.
