rules with HTTP virtual device value

Hello

I have one rules that caculate a timing. To adjust that timing, i use HTTP virtual device with a value.

test * ( temp1 - temp2)

temp1 - temp2 was good reporting

But the test * ( temp1 - temp2) somtime does not work.

It there a restriction with multiplication and HTTP virtual device?

if not why sometime it does not work?
