Setpoint on eCozy thermostat are not like defined...
Need Answer
Hi,
is anybody having experience with the eCozy Zigbee thermostats?
I installed one last week and the box recognized it well. The room temperature is transmitted correct and regular into the zipabox, but if I check the setpoint (according to heating plan in zipabox virtual thermostat) on the eCozy display I can only read the last value which I have set there manually at first installation.
Thats confusing and dont let me trust in the connection between zipabox and eCozy. Worst of all, If my son is freezing due to my home automation experiments, my wife will make me freezing also :-)
Regards
Marcus

First of all I would strongly recommend you to upgrade to the latest beta firmware release. I believe it is 1.2.xx.
After that, I would also recommend you (just in case) to delete and reinclude your eCozy.
When that is done, check if your eCozy is included both as heating input and heating output in Virtual Thermostat settings, as well as in temperature input. Save virtual thermostat and synchronize.
When you do all that, try to change setpoints both using virtual thermostat (check if temperature setpoint is changed on eCozy after that) and manualy on eCozy (if the value in the virtual thermostat is not changed after that, try refreshing your browser).
I believe it should work as expected if you do all this.
