Simple rule error
Under Consideration
Can someone help me with a simple rule?
What im trying to achieve is that if a motion is detected between 20:30 and 21:30 (regardless what day in the week it is), the radiator turns on for 30 minutes and then turns off.
Attached both rule versions and error messages. Do you think I should contact support?

Hi,
in the second rule you are using the time puzzle as a trigger, that is not working.
In the First Rule try this:
Put Motion Sensor in State any.
After If time..... put an join, and then a 2nd if motion sensor motion.
regards Helle

Hi. You mean like this? Still error - invalid rule

Just found the solution without eror (zipato accepted). The "time between" block was incorrect. I replaced it with "between" block and accepted.

Very stange behaviour. I tested the rule and was not working. I had to play around, replace the "between" with the "time between " rule back, juggle around and finally managed to get it working. Tested and all good.

Another update to the rule as the previous rule turned off the radiator when the motion state changed back to no motion...

I had to revise the rule as it was still not working as should. Just read about the importance of the block Join. Hopefully it will now solve the problem. keep posted.
