Single switch - wiring newbie question

Need Answer

Hi,

I want to add single switch from Zipato to handle single load (lamp). Attached is the image of my existing installation (how the switch is wired).

I cannot find on the internet the example of how the wiring should be done (N, L, ground) to the Zipato single switch module and back to the switch. Can anyone please help me explain.

Thanks!

Hi. It looks horrible. All three wires L, N earth used on one switch. Definitely the elektricial needs a slap. Can you send a picture of the wall box and the wires in the box?

Foe any micromodule (other than Fibaro dimmer) you need neutral in the box. If you have no neutral it wont work.

If this really is an in wall switch I would only expect a brown (phase) and black (to the load, for example lamp) wire.......

the wiring on the picture much more looks like a wall socket......please confirm how the other side looks like.....

Hi Roland and Attila,

I've spoken to my electrician, who did the wiring a couple of years ago. The reason behind all those wires is apparently in the fact that this is just one of two switches (another in the other part of the room) for one lamp. So the blue wire is actually somehow connected to the other switch and not real neutral.

Until he comes and does the wiring I gave up on the idea and installed the zwave switch to another location, where the wiring was done as expected (only brown connected to the switch).

3-way-switching is an interesting question!
