Siren output voltage on Security expansion module

Need Answer

Hello,

When I measure the voltage on the supervised siren output ( Bell+ and Bell-) I don't have +12vcc but 0Vcc.

If I push the siren button on HMI, the voltage doesn't change.

But the state of the siren button siwtch from ON to NULL.

How I can obtain the +12vcc on the supervised siren output ?

Thanks,

Further information about the other output voltage Battery and Aux :

- Battery I have more 13Vcc.

- Aux I have approximatly more than 11,5Vcc.

But between pine Bell+and -, I still have 0Vcc.

Does anyone have information on this ?

Thanks.

Hi dear frederic,

I'm happy to see that I'm not alone with this trouble.

Now, with your experience, I thing much more for a bug. And may be it's a hardware bug.

So, I will open a ticket may be this day to have an issue from this trouble.

But I'm very surprised that we are only 2 with this bug. May be, they often use a radio module, so without hardwire to connect a bell or siren...

Hi Etienne,

I am also surprised that, we are only two customers with it.

Now I am waiting for a response before to connect my siren ALTEC SI-MAX : http://www.altec-atls.fr/fr/produits/si-max.php

So actually, my alarm system with ZIPATO is unfortunately not 100% opérationnal.

I want to use a wire siren in main. Perhaps, in the near futur I will buy the Zwave Zipato Siren in second time.

But not now.

The siren output doesn't work that way - you will observe voltage only when you connect the load on the siren output.

Thanks for your reply.

I will test it this evening and I come back to you tomorrow morning.

Is it the same thing for the manage output ( pgm out )?

If I desire test it without accessories connected, with value of component must I put ?

And between witch connector ?

A- for bell output ?

B- for pgm output ?

Thanks for your reply.

Ok,

In my installation, the alimentation of the siren is provide by the AUX output of my Zipato.

So, I need to use Bell+ to connect the input of siren.

I don't use Bell - in my case.

Can I connect together the outputs AUX - and Bell - to obtain the same referential ? (0V)

Do I need to install a resistor between Bell+ and Bell - to the siren output.

On the Zipato notice, it's write that we need to use a 1Kohm.

Is it correct ?

Thanks.
