socket - hex body

Why there is no possibility to send hex data as body in socket messages ? I would really like to use hex data to control socket enabled devices directly via zipato.

I'm still waiting for this feature. Actually I created small hack to GUI to prove that it is possible to implement very easily only changing the GUI a bit (see attachment)..
