Standard rules and/or wizard in rule creator

I miss some useful standard rules that could be applied in the rule creator.
Just some basic, standard rules like:
* Turn off and on a switch at a certain time of day or use astro
* When temperature is higher than x then sent a mail
* When motion detects turn switch on and off couple of times and send a mail
There is numerous standard tules that could be created.
I have struggled with the rules creator for some time now and Im still havent figured out how to create some simple rules! Its even hard to find documentation or Youtube videos that explains how everything works togheter.
Or, just create a wizard that can guide through the process with you.
