Switch dimmer recommendation
Looking for recommendations on a Z-Wave light switch or mini module controller:
I have several 3-way switches that I want to add Z-Wave support. Dimming is nice but not required (none of the current switches are dimmers). I am looking for the solution that will provide the best performance and functionality regardless of cost and ideally Gen5 devices.
The existing Zipato Mini Energy Dimmer appears to be a branded Aeotech v2 dimmer (which they have discontinued for an upcoming new Gen5 model). Fibaro also has a mini module that is similar but appears to support more bulb types, similar to what is promised in the upcoming Aeotech Gen5.
I would appreciate any opinions based upon your experience - keep existing switches and add the mini modules or replace the switch, and if so - with what model? Are there any Gen5 light switches that work in 3-way configuration? (I have yet to find any Gen5 wall switches). Also, if you know of any switches that include power usage reporting. This is the main benefit/feature in the mini-dimmers that seems to set them apart from the switches.
Tim,
I don't have dimmers at home (I use phillips hue) but I use relay micro modules and Qubino work pretty good. Those are z-wave plus, you would have to buy the newest Fibaro dimmer in order for it to be z-wave plus. In the manual states there is a parameter to set the module as 3 way switch, check this out.

Go with Qubino. They dont need LED adaptors and dont have minimum LED requirements. Just simply work with everything...

Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately Qubino appears to be EU only, I should have mentioned I am in the U.S.

No, it is not EU only. Look in the manual and right at the beginning you will find the different supported frequencies and the corresponding order code.

Thanks - I have not found a US reseller, but will look again.

I might be able to get some for you, how many pieces would you need?

Thank you for the offer, but I'm still researching options.
