Tamper Alarms

Under Consideration

On the Door/Window Sensor the tamper alarm does not seem to work?

The open/close works, but sitting with the cover off, no tamper indication.

Further, the sensor appears to be inoperable when the tamper switch activated.

Any Ideas?

Zipato even. Door and Motion sensors say they support tamper, but they do not appear to work.

I think its not supported (jet?)

like Bat low notification is also failing.

important options in the security solution.

I noticed my tamper alarms only work or give an alarm message when they are in a zone of the alarm.

if it is not assigned to a zone, the tamper alarm will be triggered (seen in the event log) but no message or alarm notification.

so try to put it in a zone.
