Change the when state of the switch to any. you can also use command send message to test the rule

Thank you for the tip Attila. I was able to confirm that the rule above indeed didn't work. This seems like a bug to me.

Developers please have a look at this ok? I think the catch here is that this can't be done with one rule.

Though, i was able to solve this with a work around (see attached picture).

Johan I think you can do in another way if you need to toggle something on and off:

That's not the functionality I'm looking for Jacob. The functionality I have achieved has three (possibly four) possible choises:

1) on

2) off

3) on then off in quick succession

4) off then on in quick succession (I want this to be the same as "3").

So...I have been barking up the wrong three here :-) As it turns out i now believe the only problem I have had is with the functionality of the FGS222 switch I have been using.

My question now is:

I want to create a rule that's activated by pressing the wall switch (connected to S1). As anyone succeeded in doing this with a FGS222?

Ther is a few things we need to know!

1) configuration of parameters in divice manager.

Ea. Bistable, mono stable, S1, S2 and so on?

2) how you have connected the switch, number of inputs

3) what you want the switches to do?

The switch is configured as a bi stable (and is one to...). Only S1 connected to one lamp.

What I can see in the GUI is three switches, where:

"Taklampa hall" is a switch only shown in the Zipato GUI that controls the power to Q1.

"Taklampa hall 2" is a bi stable switch connected to S1 (that controls the power to Q1).

"Taklampa hall 3" is a switch only shown in the Zipato GUI that controls the power to Q2 (not used).

The effect of these two (three) switches is very strange as both "Taklampa hall" and "Taklampa hall 2" controls the actual light, but does not change the status of each other. I have tried to get "Taklampa hall 2" show up in the rules creator, but seems this cannot be done.

This is how it looks for me!

You can see what correspond to what.

And I guess you have connected the switch like this:

643494b7f65a4a2d43665c08a9eb0b58

You have to configure the switch so u use Zipabox as controler and not the switch directly controlling the light I think.

But with a rule you can make the switch as a toggle switch and or a ON OFF switch.

You should think of the FSG222 as 2 relays and 2 switches.

By configuer the parameters of the switch/relay the way you want you can use the inputs seperatly to control rules or directly control the relays.

If you use the internal logic in the switch and you don't have a toggle switch(springs) you can't turn on and off the light with your app I think.

But I dont remember exacly how to do configure.

But if you tell me how you want it to work I can probably solve it.

Ea. If you want S1 to control Taklampa hall with a on of button and you want it to be controlled with the app. You need to make a rule.

And you want to use S2 as something els.

Do you have a toggle switch or what do you have?

Se if you understand the logic with my rules, and settings.

Best regards Jacob!

I think this is a important parameter to set:

Parameter No. 13 - Assigns bistable key status to the device

status.

Default value: 0

Available configuration parameters:

0 - [On / Off] device changes status on key status change.

1 - Device status depends on key status: ON when the key is ON,

OFF when the key is OFF.

If you want to make lamp blinking in infiniti I don't think that is possible!

If I could send a private message to you I could send you my phone number. But I don't want to share it publicly.

I guess you are from Sweden? :-)

I have tested to change Parameter No. 13, but this just made things work even less well :-)

I believe the key in what you said is that: "You should think of the FSG222 as 2 relays and 2 switches.". I will adapt my mindset to this and have one other go at this. I will send you a private message also.
