Update sensor status manually

Is there a way to manipulate sensor status from open <--> closed manually by using the rule creator?


Im using one way communication equipment and it's not always the Zipabox get the "closed"/ "no motion" signal.


I want to make a update rule so the sensors go to normal position when i know the state physically.


I have tried to use a virtual switch and set the SET function stating "closed" "false" "0" without any luck.

No this is not possible. You could make a virtual sensor then make a rule that turns this virtual sensor on/off. So the other way around.
