Updating Cluster firmware does not work

Good morning community,

I am running my cluster right now with firmware version 1.2.9.

When I open the ControlCenter I see that there is a new firmware and I should update.

By clicking the update the update function starts telling me there is firmware version 1.2.20 available and I say "Update now".

For a while the wheel is turning and then I get the message Update is not possible in the moment and I can chose retry or skip.

This game I played several times since yesterday morning.

Successful updating seems not to be possible for the cluster, my Zipatile and my Zipabox are updated successfully to the 1.2.20 version.

Is it just in the moment a matter of too much traffic on the zipato servers or do I do it the wrong way in general?

Regards

Bernd

Guys,

I see that there are multiple tickets concerning this issue, so please allow me to explain.

The cluster is a virtual unit which has no firmware what so ever, and the cluster version you see on the right side of it is just a "dummy number" which serves no purpose now.

However, the upgrade button on a cluster is actually a global upgrade button which is used to upgrade all your controllers to the desired firmware at once.

Best regards,

V

Thank you for the Info,

but there is the upgrade button available all the time, if the cluster-version is older + if you try to upgrade it results in an error after Minutes. Even if all Boxes of a Cluster have the actual Firmware.

Yes indeed, this proved to be a slight illogicality - we are currently working on a new look of that upgrade feature which will be "smarter" than the previous one.

Best regards,

V
