virtual weatherstation upgrade reliability ZIPATO

As we all know the Wunderground Weatherstations that Zipato use are horribly unreliable. And if you have a few unsuccessful attempts at polling info, Zipato servers stop asking.
Well how about using Yahoo weather?
They seem to have a reliable service with open api available, can this be implemented anytime soon?
