Fabien,

Visonic is a competitor of Zipato. Visonic started building wireless alarm systems, based on their own proprietary wireless PowerG protocol and frequency hopping. They later branched into home automation, and have added support for Z-wave devices to their latest controller.

Given that PowerG is proprietary and has not beed adopted by major players for widespread distribution to consumers, I doubt there's a business case for Zipato to add a PowerG module to their lineup. Given that Visonic is a competitor, I doubt they'd have an interest in interfacing the Zipabox or Zipatile to the Visonic controller, any more than they'd want to integrate these products with Fibaro, Vera or other competitors controllers...

That said, integrating Zipabox or Zipatile with existing alarm systems is no problem: Fibaro sells a Universial Binary Sensor FGBS-001 which can be used for this:

The device has two inputs, which controls two relays, and whose state is sent to the Z-wave controller.

Using these devices, you can input the alarm system's states directly into the Zipa system. If you add a controlable relay (the Zipatile already has one onboard), you can even enable/disable external alarm systems via Zipa stuff.

My reason for recommending the Fibaro sensor over the Zipato Security Module (which offers added functionality), is that the Fibaro device can be co-located with the other alarm system, powered by the other alarm system, and allow for wireless installation, whereas the Zipato Security Module, while offering much more control and a set of useful features, would require physical wiring between the two.

Fabien,

It seems I was completely wrong with respect to the thoughts I wrote in my comments to you: I hadn't checked well enough: Visonic devices and Visonic Powermaster are among the products listed as being supported by Zipato; you can select them in the "add new device" menu. When you try to add Visonic devices, you are told you need an additional module, and that you should contact support...

This is annoying for a product to advertise active support when it doesn't exist.

There is no software nor hardware module for zipatile / zipato into the powermaster system.

Should be removed from the consumers view.

Perhaps it's the RS232 module that integrates with Visonic Powermaster? I dont know for sure, but that would seem logical and would provide proper integration, whereby the alarm sensors could be individually used in Zipato scenes/actions.
