While including a Zipato Microswitch I got the message "Secure inclusion failed"

The switch works fine, but I don't like it when I get this sort of messages (see attached screen shot). I tried to re-pair the switch several times and I get the same message each time. What should I do?

Thanks.

You will need to do the inclusion whilst the module is less than 1m away. I also used to get these messages before, now I always try to include a device within 1m if I can.

Micro modules are always hard to include real close to the controller since usually they are connected directly behind the switch. What i did is temporarily connect them to an extension cord close to the controller and after included install it on it's final place.

So yes, I finally removed it from its location (not easy, but I had no choice) and it worked.

Thanks everyone.

I have the same problem with the Danalock V3.

it has been working for more than a year but an ones the communication between Zipato and lock was lost. reconnecting is not possible. I get messages like "Secure inclusion failed" and "Manufacturer_specific_report not received"

i have upgraded the software of the lock and moved the controller till 10 cm from the lock, turning the lock by hand to keep it awake but the problems pesist.

is there someone who can advice me?
