Why doesn't my Fibaro Sensor appear as a device under scenes

I have a Fibaro eye sensor added to my Zipatile as a device and it's fully working in my rules etc. However it doesn't appear as a device when I try to create a scene? Is this just because a sensor isn't considered a device suitable the scene use or for another reason? As you'll see, I've chosen to view it as a device:

No matter what I do, it doesn't seem to appear in this list:

Hi HazzyD!

Scenes are normally used for triggering a group of "actuators" by a single command or trigger.

What do you plan to do with the Fibaro sensor in your goodnight scene? Deactivate the motion sensor so it does not trigger the lights during night time? (I am simply guessing here)

For that function you could add a virtual switch called (Bedroom sensor active) and include that switch in your motiontrigger rule? Or how do you trigger the lights from the sensor during daytime?

Please send more info and I will do my best to help.

Thanks Henning.

Yes that is initially what I wanted to do but as you saw on the other topic, there is a better way to do this. I was just intrigues why the sensor didn't appear but I guess it's because its not an actuator.

Cheers
