Z wave Danfoss thermostat one way ?
Known
HI,
If I modify the Zwave thermostat (danfoss) on my heater (radiator) why doesnt it affect the zipato virtual thermostat ?
i.e. I put 17° on the danfoss thermostat and on the zipato nothing changes, its always 19° and after a few minutes the danfoss thermostat is again on 19°.
thx

Hi. Yes, the danfoss radiator thermostst is one way communication. It is a receiver. Cannot send. If you change the temperature manually, it is temporary change and the next time it wakes up to speak with the system, gets overridden. Nothing to do with Zipato.

I think
danfoss sends and receives set_temperature.
It does not report the internal valve state and internal temperature.
If I change
the set_temperature at the valve it reports immediately the new temperature to
Zipato. I control the danfoss thermostat via rules including windows contact
sensor. If you use the zipato virtual thermostat the set_temperature is
controlled by the program which overrules the manual set_temperature.
